Music Theory Lessons
Very good for beginning students. Easy to understand. Basic. Thorough. You can also go through these theory lessons using their iPad/iPhone app. Visit the page or go to the Apple store to download the app.

Also good for beginners; better for older students. Based on the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) music standards/
curriculum from the United Kingdom. GREAT sequence of topics; not sure why we don't do it like this in the U.S.! Note: Grade 1, Grade 2 refers to LEVELS. Grade 1 is not for "first graders" |
Better suited for older students looking for the basics and/or more advanced music theory. Good for students who prefer to learn by video instead of reading a screen. Based on the ABRSM music standards from the U.K. My only criticism is that the video launch buttons are not arranged in a very logical sequence.

Fingering Charts
Simply THE best set of fingering charts for ALL woodwind instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe, english horn). Includes basic, altisimmo (extremely high), alternate, and trill fingerings. This is the fingering chart I use. Due to the large number of pages, I did not upload each pdf for each instrument. The logo above is linked to the website.
Trombone
Good chart for beginning through advanced players. Includes extremely low/high notes not found on the method book fingering chart. Only criticism is that it doesn't show which notes tend to be sharp/flat in their normal positions and how to adjust. The above chart from Norlan Bewley is for the standard, straight trombone and is available by downloading the file from above or going to the web version.

Trumpet
Great Trumpet Fingering Chart for beginners through advanced players. Includes alternate fingerings AND tells you which valve slides need to be released outward in order to play better in tune. Retrieved from the Lyric Brass Quintet website. Chart available by downloading the file from above or going to the web version.
French Horn
Nice horn chart from HornMatters.com by John Ericson showing fingerings for F single horn, Double horn (F & Bb combined), or Bb single horn. Chart available by downloading the file from above or going to the web version.
